The prestigious Safari India magazine is a regional tourism publication that focuses on India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and South-East Asia. It covers topics related to tourism such as aviation, travel agents, hospitality, travel trade conferences, wildlife and the environment. The safari award is organized by Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) which is the leading travel writers’ organization representing members from all over the world. The Safari India National Tourism Awards is given annually to recognize the leadership quality in the field of hotel, tourism, destinations, airlines, travel agent and individuals. Mrs Gita Ramesh (Joint MD – Kairali Ayurvedic Group) has been awarded “Safari India National Tourism Award” for “Best Woman Entrepreneur for Promoting Wellness”, 2010.  She has pioneered in setting up approximately 35 centres of Kairali Ayurveda Centres across the world. She is a Masters in Alternative System of Medicines; and has authored “Ayurvedic Herbal Massages.” She is also a key speaker in prominent wellness conferences all around the globe.  She is the owner and the heart and soul behind the Kairali Group since its inception in 1989. She started an Ayurvedic Health Spa in New Delhi in the year 1989 when nobody knew what Ayurveda is and what the Ayurvedic Spa services were. Therefore it can be very aptly said that Mrs Gita Ramesh is the pioneer in this thriving Ayurvedic Spa and wellness industry of India.
